Hand-painted Jointed Catfish ornament by Bert Anderson. Resin fishing ornament perfect for bait shops, lake resorts, fishing lodges, and outdoor retailers.
Jointed Catfish Ornament
Celebrate America's fishing traditions with the Bert Anderson Jointed Catfish Ornament (BAC 010). Standing approximately 4 1/4 inches tall (not including the hanger)*, this whimsical catfish features a unique jointed tail that adds playful movement and brings extra personality to Christmas trees, fishing cabins, lake resorts, and destination gift shops.
Originally sculpted by Bert Anderson, each ornament is a reproduction of his original clay sculpture, hand-cast in durable resin and individually hand-painted by skilled artisans. From its expressive face to its articulated tail, every detail reflects Bert's signature folk-art style and love of the outdoors. A natural jute rope hanger completes the handcrafted look.
Fishing continues to be one of America's favorite outdoor pastimes, making this ornament an excellent choice for bait shops, fishing lodges, marinas, sporting goods stores, and lake destination retailers. It also pairs beautifully with trout, bears, loons, moose, and other outdoor-themed ornaments from the Bert Anderson Collection, allowing retailers to create coordinated fishing and Northwoods displays that encourage multiple-item purchases.
