The Sandhill Crane received it's name from it's primary migration through the edge of Nebraska's Sandhills along the Platte River. These large waterbirds range from 39 to 47 inches tall and have a wing span up to 78 inches. Visit Nebraska during the spring to view this amazing migration. Or see them in Texas and New Mexico as they winter there.
This Sandhill Crane ornament has been designed by a Nebraskan artist and sculptor Bert Anderson.
A natural jute roping is used as the hanger to suspend the ornament.
Measures: 5" tall (not including the hanger)
